Organic Rajma Chitra : Rajma Chitra (Joshimath) is grown using traditional cultivation practices, in the Garhwal regions, located above the height of 2000 m, in the Himalayas. This Rajma is red in color and has characteristics white speckles on its surface.
Rich in taste : The rajma is characterised by its nutty flavour and musky aroma with easy soaking and pre-cooking attributes. It is anti-acidic & easily digestible, providing the ‘almost no-flatulence feeling’. When cooked with the perfect blend of spices, it provides the most relishable taste, hard to find in regular rajma varieties.
Rich in fiber and protein : Rajma Joshimath is rich in fiber which helps in digestion and keep blood cholesterol level in check. The high fiber content is also known to prevent blood sugar levels from rising rapidly after the meals. Also, Rajma is a good source of protein. Kidney beans teamed with rice are dubbed as the complete protein.
